Terms & Conditions

At Gamble Signature Group, we provide premium, mobile notarial and loan signing services directly to your location. To ensure complete transparency and regulatory compliance under Nevada law, please review our statutory fee structures and travel policies prior to booking.

I. Separation of Statutory Fees

In strict compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS Chapter 240), all fees associated with our services are bifurcated:

Notarial Act Fees: Fees charged for the performance of an individual notarial act are strictly capped by Nevada state law.

Travel Fees: Travel fees are completely separate from standard per-signature notarial fees. A travel fee is not required by law. It is a discretionary fee charged by Gamble Signature Group to compensate for mobile transit, time, and vehicle resources, and it must be explicitly agreed upon by the client before departure. Pursuant to NRS 240.100(1), all travel and notarial fees are payable in advance of the execution of the notarial act, if demanded by the notary public.

II. Schedule of Statutory Notarial Fees

Pursuant to NRS 240.100(1), the fees for notarial acts are fixed at the following maximum rates:

Acknowledgments (First Signer): $15.00 for the first signature of each individual signer on a document.

Acknowledgments (Additional Signatures): $7.50 for each additional signature executed by the same signer on the same document.

Jurats: $15.00 for executing a jurat, applied to each individual signature on the affidavit.

Oaths or Affirmations: $7.50 for administering an oath or affirmation (without a signature).

Certified Copies: $7.50 per certified copy produced.

III. Statutory Travel Rates & Split-Time Rules

Pursuant to NRS 240.100(3)(d), our travel fees are tied directly to the exact hour of travel and are billed as follows:

Standard Travel Hours (6:00 AM to 7:00 PM): $15.00 per hour.

After-Hours Travel (7:00 PM to 6:00 AM): $30.00 per hour.

Split-Time & Pro Rata Billing: A two-hour minimum charge applies to all scheduled mobile appointments ($30.00 minimum during standard hours; $60.00 minimum during after-hours). For travel that occurs over a shifting time block or extends beyond the minimum window, the following statutory rules apply:

Pro Rata Increment: After the initial two-hour minimum, any additional travel time is calculated and billed pro rata for each fraction of an hour traveled.

Split-Time Adjustments: If the travel period spans across the hourly threshold (e.g., traveling from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM), the rate will adjust dynamically at 7:00 PM, applying the standard $15.00 hourly rate to the first segment and the $30.00 after-hours rate to the second segment.

IV. Travel Fee Commencement & Cancellation Policy

Pursuant to NRS 240.100(4), a notary public is legally entitled to collect an agreed-upon travel fee once travel has commenced, subject to the following protections:

Pre-Departure Cancellations: If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled by the client prior to the notary's departure, no travel fees, cancellation penalties, or statutory fees of any kind will be assessed.

Commencement of Travel: The travel fee is considered fully earned the moment our notary begins traveling to your location. If an appointment is cancelled by the client after travel has commenced, the travel fee remains due and payable in full.

Unfulfillable Appointments: The travel fee remains due and payable if the notary arrives at the designated location but is legally or practically unable to perform the requested notarial act due to actions, omissions, or lack of preparedness by the client or any other necessary party.

Right of Refusal (Client-Related Impediments): In accordance with Nevada state regulations and professional responsibility standards, our notaries will refuse to execute a notarial act if an appointment cannot be legally fulfilled. The travel fee remains due if a signing is halted due to:

  • Inadequate Identification: The signer cannot produce a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo credential that meets strict Nevada statutory identification requirements. To be legally sufficient under Nevada law, the signer must present an original, unexpired, government-issued photo identification card (such as a Nevada Driver’s License, U.S. Passport, or Military ID card) that matches the name on the document.

  • Lack of Preparedness: The client or signer does not know, and cannot specify, the exact notarial act required. (By law, our notaries are strictly prohibited from selecting the certificate type or offering legal counsel).

  • Capacity and Comprehension: The signer exhibits clear signs of cognitive decline, disorientation, or medical impairment. Our notaries are legally obligated to verify that the principal is competent and possesses the mental capacity to fully understand the nature and consequences of the document being executed.

  • Duress or Lack of Willingness: The notary is not satisfied that the signer’s signature is being made knowingly, voluntarily, and free of outside coercion.

  • Incomplete Documentation: Documents contain blank spaces that must be filled before notarization, pages are missing, or necessary signing parties are absent.
